 Brothers
of the Baladi bring forth infectious and authentic sounds
from ancient instruments, adding Western influences to the
delight of audiences everywhere. This versatile band of
Brothers have been blazing trails in World Music for over
thirty years, playing traditional offerings and bridging
cultures from the Middle East to International Rock n’ Roll.
They tastefully mix acoustic instruments (oud, saz, kanoon,
mizmar, etc.) and vocals in seven languages, (English,
Turkish, Arabic, Farsi, Persian, French, & Spanish), with
exotic rhythms and familiar grooves.
Their passionate
and original music leaves audiences stirred and inspired.
The Brothers of the Baladi have headlined countless
colleges, festivals, concert halls, and clubs. They have
shared the stage with Maria Muldaur, It’s a Beautiful Day,
The Mamas and the Papas, 3 Mustaphas3, Leon Redbone, Paul
Horn, The Lovemongers(Heart), Poi Dog Pondering, and Zachary
Richard, to name a few. Their credits include the 2000
Desert Rose Grammy Award, featured music on USA Network’s
Core Culture, The Holy Family of Egypt a documentary
premiered in Cairo 2006, soundtracks for the Tony Award
winning Oregon Shakespeare Festival’s Midsummer Night’s
Dream and Comedy of Errors, and soundtracks for over fifty
Middle Eastern videos.

Corporate events throughout the Northwest. Playing a wide
variety of music from the Fifties to present day hits, RCB
GETS YOUR PARTY STARTED! RCB will get you out on the dance
floor and will have everyone singing along! We love to

River City
Band is comprised of four multi-talented professionals who
all sing lead vocals, featuring three and four part
harmonies, and can switch instruments during their
performance. River City performs with wireless instruments
so we can be in the middle of the dance floor inspiring
everyone to join in the fun.
If your event starts with dinner, RCB will lay it back with
some light jazz and easy listening music and when you are
ready to dance, RCB will be ready to step into high gear and
pack the dance floor!

"Top-notch","First-rate" and " Impressive" are just some of
the words used to describe the Shwing Daddies. And there are
few words to communicate the enjoyment and pleasure that
everyone gets when they listen to the Shwing Daddies. One
listener summed it up best when he said, "You guys are not
just good, you guys are scary good!"
The Shwing Daddies (pronounced Shweeeng) are a solid group
of very capable singers and musicians. The word Shwing could
be defined as a slang word communicating strong interest or
enthusiasm. That is exactly what you have with the Shwing
Daddies. The foundation of the group is comprised of Scott
Bickford on bass; Larry Clarizio on acoustic guitar; and
Gary Lapado on electric guitar. They are as exciting to
watch, as they are to hear. The group's members trade the
role of lead vocalist seamlessly and achieve exceptional
three-part harmonies as they roll out song after song of
favorites from the '60s to present. Formed in March of 2003,
they have developed a stage presence that typically is only
found with groups that have played together for many years.
