Sonny Hess
Starting out
in 1991, the Sonny Hess Power Band took the town by
storm, winning Portland Music Association's Crystal
Awards for Outstanding R&B Act and Best New Artist.
They were also nominated by the Cascade Blues
Association for Best New Band and have opened shows
for artists such as Etta James, Jr. Walker and the
All Stars, Average White Band and Bobby Womack.
